Twenty-four inches of electric purple with fifty lights buried in it. Subtlety is not the point.

Most Halloween wreaths are a handful of black twigs and a lot of hope. This one is dense — a hundred PVC branch tips packed tight enough to read as a solid ring of colour from the kerb — and it glows purple and orange after dark. Hung on a door at dusk it does the whole job by itself.

Little pumpkins, ghosts and black cats are clipped around the ring, and they come off if you would rather run it plain.

Power

  • Cordless and battery-powered through a concealed battery box — no outlet, no extension lead, no cable running under the door.
  • The pack contains the wreath and an accessory pack. Batteries are not listed as included, so plan on supplying your own.

Good to know

  • Hangs from a standard over-door wreath hanger or a single hook.
  • Best under cover. It is built from flame-retardant PVC, but the battery box is not sold as weatherproof.
  • The ornaments are removable if you want a plain purple ring.
